Members of the OSFL, Lesley McClelland (oboe), David Resig (bassoon) and Claire Tuxill McKenney (horn) have formed a new ensemble made up of old friends. Storied Winds is a wind trio that explores spoken word performance, embracing the notion that music speaks. They will be performing original compositions and arrangements for this unique combination of instruments, with and without narration. This concert includes music by Mozart, Reicha, Hovhaness and others.
