Some mornings I leave home early, hoping to catch a glimpse of a colorful sunrise behind a magnificent landscape. This morning was very cold, and the glorious colors were breathtaking. Headed off the beaten path toward Hunter’s Ridge, I saw a skiff of snow-covered tracks leading to a sea of pastels, subsiding as the morning sun emerged. Winter still has much beauty to be admired!
