I love standing out in the still of a dark night with my camera and tripod, trying to capture the night sky. On this August night, the full moon was clouded over, but I was still able to capture it and a smattering of stars in the upper sky. What a fantastic scene. Since the photo is taken at such a long exposure, the moving clouds give the photo a surreal look. This is one of my favorite views of Ives Run. It never gets old.
